When there are no words to write, I retreat to the safety of my camera and allow the lens and love to speak for me. There was so much that went horribly wrong in my life between 2020 and the first half of 2021, but through it all there were a few silver linings that got me through.
I share with you today the compilation of the highlights of a mother-daughter project that transcended boundaries, and I found myself navigating new waters.
This is my love letter to my beautiful daughter inasmuch as it is to myself and my self. This is a celebration of an indelible bond between us, as well a story of resilience and overcoming the odds.
All shots were taken between February 2020 and July 2021 with natural light and in my home studio.
