Whereas I adore the desolation and drama of winter for photography, the vibrancy of summer and the textures that you can play around with is something completely different, no matter what part of the world you may find yourself in.
You know I am a storyteller, and words are my passion. But I also see my stories, and invite you to write them with me through your eyes. It wasn’t too long ago that I was told I would never amount to anything as a photographer unless I master the mechanics of the camera. This particular set of photographs was torn apart and deemed useless, especially the bike.
Well, I disagree. Wholeheartedly. I resent the sentiment, the accusation, and for the record, I absolutely love the bike. To me the interplay of textures in all four images is what adds the philosophical aspect and gives them soul.
