For many photographers, the pursuit of the perfect solitary tree is a lifetime journey. I don’t like winter in Europe at all, but the barren trees are an absolute fascination. There is something magical about being alone on the search for that perfect tree. Summer trees are philosophical and poetic, but bare winter trees are the very definition of existentialism in its purest form.
