If you thought of Morticia Addams at first glance then you were absolutely correct! Our Old Hollywood Glamour project continues and we are thoroughly enjoying ourselves. Several of you have asked whether Maike is a professional / commercial model – no, she is not. Her talent is purely natural and she does her own styling.
The Addams Family was a much beloved TV series originally launched in 1964, based on the 1938 comics of Charles Addams. It has since been re-created and relaunched many times over. The original actress who portrayed Morticia Addams set the high standards for every other actress who took on the role!
Maike and I both loved the series, having watched (and enjoyed) different versions of it over the years. I grew up with the Carolyn Jones version whereas my daughter was more of the Hanna-Barbera animated version generation.
