- The others are too scared to come out to play, and looking over your shoulder becomes the name of the game.
- There is no lightness and joy in being part of the playground we call home, but a darkness descends and one by one, the players withdraw from the game.
When the bully rules the playground…
- There is no equality
- There is no sharing
- There is no learning
- There is no growth
When the bully rules the playground…
- Respect is cast aside,
- Foul language is allowed,
- Pushing and shoving are a must,
- And violence becomes the new standard.
When the bully rules the playground…
- Those who should no longer play are suddenly back in the game,
- Those who should not be treated as heroes of the game are elevated on a pedestal,
- And good judgment and common sense commit suicide from the next window.
When the bully rules the playground…
- Plans are spontaneous and lack direction, drafted on convenience and not knowledge,
- Long-term benefits are not factored in,
- The common good becomes antiquated and out of place.
When the bully rules the playground…
- Democracy dies,
- Anarchy ascends to the throne,
- The core is black,
- And the spirit is pierced.

It is time to stand your ground.
